fathers could also be called "chichi-ue" and mothers "haha-ue" when you refer to them as your own to other people, o kaya kapag tinatawag mo sila. parang keigo ata un ah.
keigo: formal japanese language/polite form?
*days of the week ~getsuyoubi: monday ~kayoubi: tuesday ~suiyoubi: wednesday ~mokuyoubi: thursday ~kinyoubi: friday ~doyoubi: saturday ~nichiyoubi: sunday
kinou: yesterday kyou: today ashi.ta: tomorrow ototoi: day before yesterday asatte: day after tomorrow
asa: morning kesa: this morning hiru: daytime/noon ban/yoru: night konban: tonight
example: kyou wa kinyoubi desu dakara ashi.ta wa doyoubi ne.
{please correct me if I'm wrong. (^ ^);}

ah, I'd like to clear up ojisan and ojiisan. there's a difference to both of them.
ojisan: old man/lolo ojiisan: uncle/more formal way to address an aging man.
the same goes to
obachan: old woman/lola obaachan: auntie
okasan: OKA means hill.. okaasan: mother
onechan: ONE mean hill.. oneechan: older sister
onichan: ONI means demon.. oniichan: older brother
so you should be careful of your pronounciation when addressing people {esp obachan and obaachan, ojichan and ojiichan} as it might offend them. (^ ^);
ok lang mawala un "o" sa unahan wag lang magkamali sa pronounciation. hehe.

Hai, sou desu. Kase kapag sinulat mo siya may kanji sila. Kapag hiragana, dapat ganoon ang spelling. @topic: countries naman. this is how the japanese pronounce foreign countries. xD ~rozu anjerezu: Los Angeles ~amerika: US ~igirisu: UK ~itaria: Italy ~indo: India ~ijiputo: Egypt ~osuteraria: Australia ~sauji arebia: Saudi Arabia ~shingaporu: Singapore ~supein: Spain ~doitsu: Germany ~furansu: France ~firipin: Philippines ~burajiru: Brazil ~betonamu: Vietnam ~maresha: Malaysia ~mekishiko: Mexico ~rosha: Russia those countries, they write it using katakana. ~chuugoku: China ~kankoku: South Korea those contries, they have kanji characters. pwede ring hiragana. kapag languages naman ~eigo: English ~nihongo: Japanese ~firipingo: Filipino laging ia-add 'yung "go" after nung name ng country. except for mexico, kase spanish naman ginagamit nila. so it would be supeingo. also for brazil, portugese sila di ba? so it would be porutogarugo. at may iba pang countries. yan ung mga naaalala ko. Whew, ang haba nung tinype ko. Buti naaalala ko pa sila. xD
